Introduction:
5-FAM-X-dUTP is supplied as 1 mM solution in TE buffer. The nucleotide is designed for
enzymatic non-radioactive labeling of DNA by PCR, nicktranslation, cDNA synthesis, random
primed labeling, or primer extension. 5- FAM-X-dUTP can be enzymatically incorporated into
DNA with Reverse Transcriptase, Taq DNA Polymerase, phi29 DNA Polymerase, Klenow
Fragment, exo-, Klenow Fragment and DNA Polymerase I. The X linker between FAM and
dUTP can improve the incorporation efficiency.
